WATER DRAIN CLAMP FOR SOLAR PANEL
To drain stagnant/dirty water from solar panel corners after cleaning them manually or by sprinklers or being cleaned due to rain.
⚠️Problem/ Issue
Dust / mud along with water get accumulated at the corners of the solar panel.
🔍Causes
Dirty water clogging at the edges of the panel is due to: Rain, Sprinklers, Improper cleaning by handheld equipment, and Installation of panels at a tilt angle of 1-23 degrees.
⚡Impact on Panel
The continuous clogging of mud / dirty water at the corner leads to:
- Dirty busbar creates power loss thereby reduces efficiency of the panel.
- Scaling / Shadow Effect
- Hotspot formation
- Reduces power generation
- Reduces Panel Life
ℹ️Note
- Installing Water Drain Clamp will not harm ARC. It is mounted on panel frame.
- It weighs approx. 8 - 9 grams which will not create any load impact on the panel frame.
